The world’s youngest Nobel Prize winner graduated from Oxford University, one of the world’s top-ranked educational institutions, where she studied economics, politics and philosophy, according to MailOnline.
On Instagram, Malala Yousafzai, now 24, wears a black and white graduation gown with her friends, boyfriend, mom and dad outside the famous university.
When she was 17 years old, Malala Yousafzai became the world’s youngest Nobel laureate. She received the Peace Prize for her struggle for girls’ right to education in the Swat Valley of Pakistan, where she came from.
For several years I fought for girls’ right to go to school. Her texts were published in the BBC and many international media wrote about the girl then.
Shot in the head
When she was 15, she and three other girls were shot while leaving a school in Swatdalen. Malala was hit in the head but survived hospital treatment.
In 2013, the book “I am Malala”, authored and British journalist Christina Lamb, became a bestseller worldwide.
For two years now, Malala Yousafzai and her parents have been living in the United Kingdom. Her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, is also a well-known human rights activist, who runs several girls’ schools in Pakistan.
Earlier in November, the 24-year-old married his friend Asir Malik, president of the Pakistan Cricket Association, in Birmingham, UK.
