Almost five years after the first model, Xiaomi has now launched the Mi Mix 4. The 20MP front camera is located under the display and is almost indistinguishable.
To achieve success with this piece of art, Xiaomi uses a flexible panel, as well as a special pixel pattern around the camera. The panel has a 400ppi over the image sensor, just like on the ZTE phone. 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz sampling rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. A fingerprint reader is also located at the bottom of the screen. Mi Mix 4 can be purchased with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 fast type, respectively. The chip is the latest from Qualcomm: Snapdragon 888 Plus.
The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and can be charged quickly using a cable over 120 watts or wirelessly over 50 watts. Other goodies include an IR transmitter, NFC, stereo speakers, and a ceramic back cover. The whole bag measures 162.65 x 75.35 x 8mm and weighs 225g.
Another specialty is UWB Support (Ultra broadband), such as the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. For photography, a 108MP main camera with OIS, f1.95 aperture and 1 / 1.33 sensor is offered first of all. It is complemented by an 8 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, which also has OIS. The last camera is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view.
According to Xiaomi, they were able to reduce the distortion along the edges for ultra-wide angle photos to only 1%. The top model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will cost SEK 8,470 in China, where the phone will be available on August 16. International launch information will be announced later.
