Word It is a fairly new pun that has increased in popularity significantly since it was publicly released last fall. The game, which is all about searching for a word in five letters, was released on the web in October and is now said to have around 300,000 players. It is said that the fact that more and more players have found the game is partly due to the fact that the results are easy to post on social media without revealing the desired word.
The game reminds us of the classic game Mastermind. The player gets six attempts to guess the word being searched for for the day. Each attempt highlights the letters that are included in the searched word. Green indicates that the letter is inserted into the word and is in the correct place while yellow indicates that the letter is inserted into the word is stuck somewhere else. Gray characters are included in the search word.
If the player finds the desired word, the result can then be published in the form of a picture showing how many attempts it took and how those looked in terms of results. You can see an example of this image below.
