We enjoyed great entertainment and exciting voice counting on Saturday night from Turin. When the votes were counted and the evening was to be summed up, it was clear that Ukraine The Kalush Orchestra with Stefania’s song won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with 631 points. They had massive support from the people’s votes that completely changed the scoreboard!
Cornelia Jacobs ended up in fourth place
Sweden and Cornelia Jacobs were among the frontrunners for the Eurovision final and finished in fourth place with their song Hold me Closer.
Sweden’s latest place on the podium at schlager EC came in 2015 when MÃ¥ns Zelmerlöw won the ‘Heroes’.
