Viaplay’s popular ‘Who Kills’ movie returns for a new season

Viaplay released a new season of the highly successful Danish crime drama Den som dräper in early 2023. The series is one of the most-watched Viaplay Originals series, and Natalie Madueño (‘The Rain’; ‘Follow the Money’) returns in her main role as a criminal and a… Definition, forced to confront the darkest psyche of man. The movie “The One Who Kills” produced by Miso Film.

When a middle-aged couple is brutally murdered, Louise Bergsten (Natalie Madoino) joins the police in hunting down the killer, despite suffering from anxiety after her recent downfall. The investigation leads Louise to a desperate young man who hides a shocking secret – and to a settlement with his personal darkness.

The new season of ‘Den som dräper’ (Danish title: ‘Den som dræber – fanget af mørket’) also features Simon Sears (‘Shadow and Bone’) and is filmed in Copenhagen and Roskilde. Ina Bruhn returns as lead author and the series is directed by Mads Kamp Thulstrup (‘Ragnarok’). Peter Boss and Jonas Allen produce for Mizo Film and Dorty Fuglsang is the executive producer of Viaplay.

The eight-episode series is distributed internationally by Fremantle.
