Google recently posted repair manuals for the new Pixel 9 phones on its support page, and now Ifixit has started adding official spare parts for the phones to its online store.
For example, if the charging port on your Pixel 9 or Pixel 9 Pro breaks, you can buy a new one for €49.95. On the other hand, the charging port on the Pixel 9 Pro XL is a bit cheaper, costing “only” €42.95.
But it's no surprise that the most expensive parts of a smartphone are the cameras and displays. The new display for the Pixel 9 Pro XL costs €239.95, while the rear cameras cost €269.95.

If your new Pixel 9 phone breaks, you no longer need to resort to mobile phone repair shops or service centers, if you are adventurous enough, you can now fix the phone yourself. Google has uploaded repair guides for the new Pixel 9 phones.

The first thing Google mentions in the guides is that you should always go to professional workshops, and you should not try to repair your mobile phone if you have no previous experience with it.
If you have the technical expertise required, or simply choose to ignore the warning, in the hundreds of pages of guides that follow, you can read almost everything you need to know about how to disassemble mobile phones and replace components, what tools are needed, and exactly what is needed in the Pixel 9 phones.

At the time of writing, there appears to be something wrong with the repair guide download links on the Google support page, and the Pixel 9 links currently lead to a Pixel 8 guide download.
