There is a hidden “Elon Mode” for self-driving cars in Tesla cars

Tesla hacker “greentheonly” discovered a hidden feature in Tesla cars that allows full self-driving without the need to hold the steering wheel.

The hidden feature called “Elon Mode” has been found by To dig deep into Tesla’s code. The hacker was previously able to unlock the use of the then-unknown power seats and camera in the Model 3 before it was officially enabled for customers. He has now released some videos demonstrating “Elon Mode”, which is the self-driving mode. The first thing he noticed was that there was less need for driver attention in the situation compared to Tesla’s full self-driving ability.
