At the same time, the beauty chain is establishing a new role as global franchise manager.
The Body Shop is making changes in management. Caroline Le Roche has been welcomed as the company’s new CEO in Europe. It replaces Qayyum Palace, who has been appointed to a new position as Global Franchise Manager.
Caroline Le Roche has over 20 years of global experience in beauty and specialty retail. Most recently, she comes from Godiva, where she has been stationed in New York with the title of President of the Americas since 2019.
Qayyum Palace has 20 years in the company and for the past seven years has led The Body Shop in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. In his new position, he will focus on building ever stronger partnerships with the worldwide franchise network.
– Caroline is expertly positioned to lead our operations in Europe and build further on the sustainable digital and retail growth of global brands. Qasar has extensive experience working with our franchise community in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, and will now take its knowledge and talent to support our great partners as we move our business forward together across Asia and the rest of the world,” said CEO David Boynton.
The appointments follow the announcement in January that Maddie Smith had joined The Body Shop as managing director for the UK and Ireland, and that Linda Campbell had been named global retail manager.
