Catholic Connect is a mobile application that helps Catholics in India stay better connected to the Church in several ways, including finding the nearest church, mass times, and connecting with parishes and each other for resources and support.

The Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI) has launched a new smartphone application, Catholic Contact Mobile AppWhich will help believers in the country, and the application was officially launched on Wednesday, January 31, during the plenary session at St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences in Bangalore. The dedication ceremony was attended by the President of the Indian Episcopal Conference, Cardinal Felipe Neri Ferrao, the Archbishop of Bombay, Cardinal Oswald Gracias, the Archbishop of Hyderabad, Cardinal Anthony Bulla and several other members of the Episcopal Conference.

The bishops' conference explained in a statement that the app serves as a comprehensive platform that provides access to spiritual resources, relevant news and a range of Catholic community services, including health insurance, education, jobs and emergency assistance.
Find churches and services
In addition, users can easily find nearby churches and access various services offered by the Church in India. The app aims to keep users informed of local developments, a feature aimed at increasing the sense of community and belonging among users, regardless of geographic location. The tool will also help Catholics connect with their parishes and dioceses, as the app includes a “My Parish” and “My Diocese” page containing information, events, announcements and obituaries. App users can choose their parish and diocese during registration.
A comprehensive interactive platform
The app also includes a dedicated space for committees of the Bishops' Conference of India, where their activities, trainings and programs are showcased. The interactive platform allows the Committee's secretaries to present their initiatives directly, thus maximizing the scope and impact of the various programs of the Bishops' Conference.
