Apple is preparing to launch the M4 Macbook Pro, which will come with the company's latest chipset. According to leaked performance figures from Cinebench, the M4 with active cooling is a truly impressive piece of equipment.
YouTube channel Romantsev768 It recently posted a video that appears to show the performance results of the Apple M4 Macbook Pro on the Cinebench 2024 synthetic test suite. The Apple M4 is already used in the company's latest iPads, but when placed in a Macbook Pro with active cooling, it looks like that. As if it would run the gamut around the competition.
Romancev managed to reach a single-core score of 174 and a multi-core score of 971 with the Apple M4. Compared to competitors Intel Core Ultra 9 288V and AMD Ryzen 9 AI HX 370, the M4 scores 42 and 33 percent higher in single-core performance, respectively. If we look at the portion of Cinebench that uses all circuit cores, we find that Intel is 62 percent behind and the AMD processor is roughly on par with Apple's.
It's still unclear how Apple's latest computer managed to reach consumers nearly a month before its unveiling. Therefore the numbers should be taken with a grain of salt. Hopefully we'll get more clarity on the situation soon. Apple is otherwise expected to unveil the next-generation Macbook Pro on November 1, and we'll likely get a set of official performance numbers along with the unveiling.
