A fire broke out in a residential building in Johannesfried during the morning. A preliminary investigation has been launched into suspected arson.
Early on Friday morning, police were called to an address in Johannesfried in Bromma due to a fire. The fire is currently suspected to be arson, police wrote on their website.
Emergency services began working to extinguish the fire, which has now been extinguished. No one was said to be in the home and no one was physically injured.
The fire broke out in the door of an apartment in a residential building. Karina Skagerlind, police press liaison, says there is some damage to the home.

– There are some things that indicate this, but I will not say more about it at the moment.

Smoke ventilation
According to Jarmo Karlsten, department operator at the Greater Stockholm Fire Service, there was no fire to put out when they arrived, only smoke for ventilation.
– Five fire engines came out in addition to the management unit. He says that after the first fire engine arrived and made sure that the fire was not more extensive, the other four fire engines turned back.
Knocking on the door
A preliminary investigation into suspected arson has been launched.
Police are currently knocking on neighbors' doors to see if anyone has seen anything. A technical survey will also be conducted on site.
