The end of school is here and a long summer vacation awaits the children and young people of Upplands-Bro. No one has to leave the municipality to find fun activities. The middle lists a selection of what's on offer.

Fritidsbanken in Bro will open in the fall of 2024. Before that, a pop-up will run during the summer weeks. This means that all children, young people – and adults, can borrow equipment for free for various forms of leisure activities during the period from 1 July to 9 August. Fritidsbanken's Pop-Up Shop will be open Mondays to Fridays from 10 to 15. Stops are on Mondays in the center of Kungsängens, Tuesdays in Hällkana, Wednesdays in Klockardalen IP, Thursdays in Stjärnparken in Bro, and Fridays in Lillsjöbadet.

In collaboration with artists Asa Ellison and Tommi Mäkinen, the art is created in collaboration with visiting children. The focus is on what is found on site as well as paint, crayons, pencils, clay, plaster, wood and textiles.

Here she practices pop songs, sings, and practices how to stand on stage. Guitar, keyboard and drums are the instruments that are emphasized. This is the basic condition that I played for a while. No prior knowledge of singing is required. Registration is required for this screening, but it is free.

In the same period, August 12-16, a theater group was organized in the Marina Association building in Kongsangen. There will be theater exercises and improvisations which are then compiled into a presentation. Registration is also required for the Theater Patrol, but the activity itself is free.

All information about registration and a wide range of other activities can be found on the municipality's summer website here.
