Depending on what kind of enemy you are facing.
Several months later with only one pre-show Movie trailer For the audience, we finally got to treat ourselves to some during The Game Awards Play From Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Now we’ve also received more information about the game, thanks to an interview with game director Stig Asmussen.
It tells us, among other things, that the game will have five different fighting styles that we can choose from, and it’s important to know which one works best for which enemies. The new styles include:
The remaining two we assume are a plain, simple lightsaber and Darth Maul’s dual lightsaber variant that we saw in the gameplay trailer. Furthermore, Asmussen describes main character Cal Kestis as an unorthodox Jedi who must resort to all tricks to survive, even if it’s some things you wouldn’t have seen with kind eyes during the glory days of the Jedi Order.
However, he is not completely without help, forming a brother-like bond with bounty hunter Bode Akuna, who helps him in battles and learns how to crack witty comments every now and then.
In terms of the game’s world structure, Asmussen says they now have a “wider metroidvania layout” where, for example, you can combine the new grappling hook with other abilities to cross large chasms. Among other things, we’ll be able to test these capabilities on an entirely new planet in the Star Wars universe, which Asmussen believes will provide a lot of exploration.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is released on March 17 for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Thanks, Game information.
