Shooting in Oslo – two wounded

There’s a big draw in Oslo’s Vika district after the shooting took place, says VG.

An eyewitness told VG that four shots were fired, and she also allegedly heard screams and people calling for help. It is also said that someone was seen running from the scene.

The police believe there should be no danger to other residents.

Everything indicates that it was a targeted attack. The two’s injuries were described as serious, but not life-threatening, police officer Alexander Ostergaard told the newspaper.

According to the police, a brawl broke out inside a bar prior to the shooting.

– And then they went out into the street environment, where the shooting took place, police chief of operations Magnus Strand tells NTB.

The search for the perpetrator or perpetrators is ongoing, and the police are still at the scene and working on various investigation procedures.

– We work on a large scale, collecting witness interviews on the spot and collecting video materials that can help us solve the case, says Alexander Ostergaard.
