March 15th, GTA V and GTA Online will be released for Xbox Series X/S and PS5, which is impressive as the original version was released for PS3 and Xbox 360. Now Rockstar has told a little more about what we can expect from the new version and in short, what the game will look like Better and players will be able to choose between different graphics modes.
As usual, gamers will have to choose between a Fidelity mode with 4K and ray tracing and 30fps or a Performance mode aiming for 60fps with enhanced 4K resolution. However, on the Xbox Series S, 1080p is implemented at 60 fps in performance mode. Xbox Series X and PS5 will also have access to Performance RT, a combination of the two modes where 60 frames per second is applied as well as 4K resolution and ray tracing.
In addition to these different modes, all variants will benefit from nicer graphics and some other improvements. Cities will feel more alive with more traffic and pedestrians as well as more green spaces in nature. Moreover, the game comes with improved lighting and water reflections, better edge resistance and improved textures. And of course faster shipping times. On the PS5, the game will also use the Adaptive Trigger buttons on the Dualsense.
