Singer Rihanna has been
living secretly in north London
for the last year, and is paying £16,000 a week to rent a luxury mansion worth
an estimated £30m a national newspaper report says.

Barbados-born Rihanna is
perhaps most famous for her 2007 hit song ‘Umbrella’ and is said to be worth
Although the Daily Mail’s story centres on revealing Rihanna’s previously-unknown London home the story is interesting from a property point of view too: Paying £16,000 a week rent for a house worth £30m represents a meagre rental yield of just 2.77% for the landlord – but a great deal for the tenant. Rihanna, it seems, is as shrewd in her property dealings as she is in her musical career.
