Rail Care Group Adaptation of its organization to improve human resources in the contracting business. This is done by bringing together all the machine operators at Railcare Resources AB, appointing a new Operations Manager, and also by taking a partly new approach to operations in Great Britain. The regulatory change means that costs corresponding to SEK 3 million will be charged to the result during the fourth quarter of 2022.
Railcare Resources AB will be the company that will supply other Railcare companies with machine operators for jobs performed within Entreprenad Sweden and Entreprenad Abroad. Something that means that resources can be optimized based on current customer needs and that operators have better conditions for carrying out their work.
Our primary goal is to build a stronger team of machine operators. We do this by bringing them together into one company and hiring an operations manager who develops both the enterprise and the individual, says Matthias Rimal, CEO at Railcare Group AB.
As Operations Director for Machine Operators at Railcare Resources AB, Lotta Dahlqvist will take over from mid-March 2023. Lotta has a long background in organizational development and has served as a consultant to development teams for several different companies. She recently came from a managerial position in Skelleftea Municipality. Mattias Remahl says:
Above all, Lotta has extensive experience in building teams and creating team spirit, which is a priority in our business. Employees who enjoy their work, in turn, pave the way for successful customer assignments and skillsets for the future.
There have also been some changes associated with operations in Great Britain as Entreprenad Utland’s former Business Area Manager Daniel Oholm has left the Railcare Group. With personnel resources being more cross-border and called upon based on tasks, the goal here is also to optimize resources.
– We will work more with rail partners in Great Britain to better communicate our offer both inside and outside the framework agreement with Network Rail, says Matthias Rimmal.
Due to the organizational change, costs corresponding to SEK 3 million will be charged to the result during the fourth quarter of 2022. Matthias Rimmal concludes:
With these changes we get a more efficient organization with better resource management and I look forward to continuing to work towards a more sustainable railway.
