Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, 96, is annulled again.
For health reasons, she cannot participate in the historic Epsom Derby on Saturday.
Everyone knows that horses are the love of their life, says Aftonbladet court reporter Jenny Alexanderson.
Buckingham Palace has announced that Queen Elizabeth II will be canceling an additional element of the program during her 70th birthday celebrations, British news channel ITV reports.
The Queen was to appear during the Epsom Derby classic on Saturday.
The 96-year-old Queen has already canceled an element of the program during the four-day celebration held in her honor, Aftonbladet previously reported.
On Friday, she would attend mass at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Horses are her great love
Her deteriorating health is the reason for her absence from the program’s terms.
A British court spokesperson said at the time: “Given the travel and activity required to attend the ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral, Her Majesty the Queen decided with great hesitation that she would not attend.”
Aftonbladet court correspondent Jenny Alexanderson stated that the court is doing everything to protect the queen and that elements of the program are canceled if she is ill.
– But canceling this, of course, causes great concern to the British. Everyone knows horses are the love of their life after Prince Philip, says Jenny Alexanderson.
