Press call, Brain Day – this year’s big knowledge day about the brain

Stem cell transplantation and brain fatigue. These are some of the topics you’ll hear when the world’s leading brain researchers gather for this year’s premier Cognitive Brain Symposium. Welcome!

Where: Chalmers Convention Centre, Gothenburg or digitally
When: November 14, at 16.00-19.35

It will be an afternoon full of knowledge and inspiration, as you will learn, among other things, more about how our lifestyles affect the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease, and about hopeful research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and the treatment of alcoholism.

22% of the burden of disease in Sweden is due to brain diseases. However, we know less about the brain compared to other parts of the body. Hjärnans dag is an annual knowledge symposium organized by Hjärnanfonden that aims to increase knowledge about the brain and promote high-quality research.

The moderator is Katis Ahlstrom, broadcaster, journalist and conference host.
