Police ignored alarm in Norwich – and four were found dead

Four people were found dead in the house in Costesi.

Four people – a 45-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman and two girls aged between twelve and seven – were found dead in the house in Costesi. The man, Bartlomiej Koczynski, who is said to be married, lived at the address with his two daughters. According to police, the woman lived in the house only temporarily woman. Neighbors say daily Mail That Kuczynski's wife had not been seen for months and that her sister was there to help care for the children.

Police now admit they received an alarm call from a man at the address in question at 6am on Friday morning, but ignored the alarm and did not send any police officers. After another alarm from a neighbor a little over an hour later, police opened the door to the house and found the four dead. The police also stated that they reported themselves to independent investigators, who will investigate partly the current incident, but also an incident that occurred in December when Bartlomiej Kuczynski was reported missing.

Damage to all bodies

The house is still cordoned off and a technical investigation is underway.

We have had a heavy security presence in the area since Friday morning. There is of course great concern in the local community, but their help and support in the investigation has been tremendous, says Chris Burgess, who is leading the investigation.

– Today our focus remains on the address and we are checking the surveillance cameras in the area. While we are still trying to piece together what happened, we are certain that this is an isolated incident.

The police said that the four bodies had injuries and that an autopsy would be conducted on them.
