The first foldable mobile phone from Oppo Find N will be launched next week. The Chinese company seems to have solved one of the biggest weaknesses in Samsung’s fold series.
After four years of development work and six prototypes, Oppo is ready to release its first foldable mobile phone. Find N will be launched at Oppo Inno Day event on December 15th.
The work with the phone was led by Pete Lau, product manager for Oppo, known as the CEO and founder of sister company Oneplus. Find N must have rid of many childhood ailments previously dragged on foldable smartphones, writes in one Blog Posts.
Exact specifications won’t be given until next week, but on the screenshots shown so far, it’s possible to see clear progress. Something Criticize the new technology on Samsung Galaxy Fold phones, which is the external screen, which is used when the phone is folded, is not quite up to par.
More sustainable than the competition?
The Find N, on the other hand, has what looks like a full-size external display with the same narrow bezels that we’re used to from regular cell phones.
Pete Lau writes that Oppo has also solved the problem of the fold formed on the main screen in the raised position, and that their phones should be more durable and powerful.
Oppo is also expected to launch a new artificial intelligence processor and a pair of new smart glasses during the same event.
