We start with the 4 Series, and this applies to both the coupe and cabriolet. Since BMW invests in both sport and the environment, it believes the updated 4 Series should contribute to both. Thanks to design modifications, aerodynamics have been improved, which should increase driving pleasure while reducing consumption. Now we're not talking about a green car, but you can buy the model with a 48-volt hybrid system as well.
New LED headlights at the front together with a new matte chrome finish on the air inlets form a “new” fascia. The 4 Series also gets two new colors to choose from: Cape York Green metallic and Fire Red metallic. New rims are also part of the facelift tradition and this is no exception. Three new 19-inch wheels and new M wheels.
Inside, we find a newly designed steering wheel and various options in terms of sports seat materials – some more recycled than others. If you choose the M Sport package or the M Performance package, you get the M Performancetex material in black, which is new. Hence, the infotainment system has been updated with new controls for ventilation, among other things.
There are four-cylinder engines in the regular 4 Series models, while there are six-cylinder engines hidden under the hood in the M Performance versions.

BMW M4 facelift
Even on the M4, the facelift is primarily about a new look for the LED headlights at the front and rear, among other things. If you like, you can also order your M4 with a stripe on the hood, in either black or red. It's part of the M Design package which of course includes the M logo on the hood and some other details around it.
For the driver, the same applies as in the 4 Series: the surroundings of the steering wheel should offer some novelties, for example, it should be possible to choose the M Alcantara steering wheel as an option. The curved touchscreen on the dashboard has been updated with the latest BMW operating system.
It's still the same 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine under the hood of the M4 Coupe and Cabriolet, but with slightly different modifications. So, in the M xDrive version, the power has been increased from 510 hp to 530 hp. The 510 applies to the “normal” competition configuration. The coupe model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, while the convertible version accelerates the same distance in 3.7 seconds in the case of M xDrive.
