Nothing offers an investment in software

Nothing offers an investment in software

We had previously heard that nothing would invest more in software and now it appears that the first step has been taken. In a message on Twitter, company CEO and founder Carl Pei welcomed the Bllocphone founder and his team to Nothing.

Blloc Phone was a phone launched in 2018 that aimed to give you a completely distraction-free black and white smartphone experience. The idea continued in the form of a start screen app ratio and now the whole team is greeted with nothing.

Ratio is a productivity focused home screen app. For example, it provides an integrated inbox with SMS as well as messages from Whatsapp, Instagram, and other apps. With the help of different focus modes, you can adapt the look of the interface to different occasions during the day, and the apps and widgets should help you become efficient and limit unnecessary screen time.

Carl Pei’s Twitter message gives the impression that nothing bought the entire company and they are now part of nothing, but this is not certain. Mobile has reached out to none for comment with no success. Mladen M writes. Hoess, the product manager at Blloc, says on his Twitter profile that he’s also the software creative director for Nothing, so it could be said that some sort of collaboration is in the works.

This could mean that we’ll see more unique features in Nothing’s interface, which are certainly based on those in Proportion. Nothing has confirmed that during the year they will launch their next phone, Nothing Phone 2, with more outstanding performance than the first, and it has been confirmed that one of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 chipsets will power the upcoming flagship.
