Noctua released the NH-L9A-AM5 for its Ryzen 7000

Reputable Noctua has always been offering efficient processor coolers to keep users’ processors cool and happy. Models often wear the iconic brown livery, and come in large and small variants, with the NH-L9 series being a well-known example of the latter. The chain has recently received reinforcements In the form of NH-L9I-17xxwhich was specially adapted for the Intel LGA 1700 socket. Now the latest AMD gets similar treatment.

on me Displays its website Noctua NH-L9A-AM5, and as the name suggests, it’s an updated version of the little thing that targets the AMD AM5 socket. Like previous versions, the cooler is designed for the smallest dimensions, measuring just 37 mm in height for wide compatibility with various chassis. Noctua says the smaller size also means the cooler has to be kept away from the primary memory and graphics cards.

With a smaller size comes limited cooling capacity, and the NH-L9A-AM5 is no exception. Noctua recommends combining the cooler with the newly released cooler Ryzen 7000 processors with a TDP value of 65W, but the company claims there should also be room for up to 130W if needed. Anyone who wants to increase the cooling capacity can buy the NA-FD1 tunnel fan, which should be able to lower the temperature by another 5 degrees Celsius.

Released in classic brown and the all-black Chromax Black variant, Noctua’s NH-L9A-AM5 comes in at €49.90 and €59.90 respectively. Sales really start today, even if the products are not yet available in Swedish stores at the time of this writing.
