With the new Netflix Moments feature, you'll be able to save your favorite scenes and share them with friends online.
There have long been persistent bans in various streaming apps against filming and taking screenshots from the services. Now streaming giant Netflix is choosing to meet meme creators and quote lovers. With the new feature they call Netflix Moments It's the idea that you should be able to save and share clips directly from their service – without having to resort to illegal actions.
With just a simple press of a button, you should be able to save your favorite scene or quote from a movie or series in the app – either to come back to later or share on social media.
This functionality will make it easier for casual movie fans as well as more dedicated movie accounts to post their favorite content and is a rather refreshing way of how one of the biggest issues with streaming services right now is being addressed; piracy.
Netflix Moments is one of the functions in the mobile app, and it will first arrive on iOS where it was already released in the US today, but according to the press release, it is also scheduled to be released for Android soon. When or if the job will appear in Sweden is still unclear.
