A Saab that can only be described as a beast is now up for auction. With 700 hp, the Saab 9-3 Aeron from 2008 breaks away from most sports cars.
– The ultimate Saab 9-3 SportSedan for those who want to stand out from the crowd in terms of sound and performance, writes Biddershighway.
The Saab 9-3 Aero SportSedan has an elegant design with sporty features. When the car was launched in the early 2000s, it came with a new aluminum engine in the 2.0T version. But in this Saab monster now sold at Biddershighway, the engine has been updated in a more serious way, to say the least.
Today, under the hood, we find a fully forged 3.2-liter Z32SE equipped with a Garret GT3071 Turbo, Yellowspeed Maptun XT engine, which in total gives an incredible 701 horsepower. Powering the engine is a GM F40 6-speed manual transmission that's enhanced with mechanical brakes to handle the insane power.
The Monster-Saab should also be fully prepared to take to Swedish roads.
– All these modifications are of course registered and approved by the Swedish Transport Agency, Writes Pedders Highway Who is selling the car at his next auction.
The silver-coloured Saab exterior is in good condition having been repainted in the original colour. However, some clear coats have been released in some places. The body has also been widened and the roof has been wrapped in a carbon fiber look.
Even the leather-filled interior is in good condition and all the electronics should work as intended. The car has traveled no more than 7,232 miles and has only had two previous owners with the current owner purchasing the car in 2011.
– The manufacturer purchased the car when it was original in 2011 and all modifications were recorded on the car's inspection paperwork, wrote Biddershighway, which will open the auction soon.
