Capcom once again showed off the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds game and confirmed that the game will be getting an open beta test for those who can't wait until February 2025.
Monster Hunter Wilds will officially launch on February 28, 2025. Ahead of the launch, Capcom has released a series of videos walking us through what to expect. Yesterday, it was time to go over the game again and let players see a new area and the monsters that hide there.
Capcom also confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds will receive an open beta between October 29th and November 4th. Those who don't have the patience to wait a few more months can therefore test out the game in a relatively unpolished state. Test content will include character creation, the first scene of that plot, and the Doshaguma Hunt mission. During the mission, players will be able to test out two different types of weapons and will see and feel what battles in the game feel like.
However, Capcom states that the game is not finished yet and that beta test participants should not judge the game too harshly. After all, testing ends roughly four months before the official launch, so Capcom has enough time to review feedback and hopefully fix any issues players encounter during the testing period.
