Mildives start subsidiary in Denmark for rapid expansion

In order to further strengthen MilDef’s position in Denmark, MilDef Danmark is now being created. The subsidiary will be led by Klaus Larsen, who is the closest regional director of the Danish company Atos, who specializes in defense and security and has 20 years of service as a reserve officer.

MilDef solutions for tactical IT, defense digitization, authorities and critical infrastructure have been sold to more than 80 countries and the company currently has subsidiaries in ten countries. Now Denmark has been added to the map, a strategic platform for MilDef to expand with its subsidiaries.

– In line with the increasing focus on modernizing defense systems in the Nordic countries, our presence in Denmark is being accelerated. The investment indicates that the deep Nordic cooperation has strong industrial roots with us. Our operations will be led by Danish Klaus Larsen who has a strong background in business development in defense and security as well as an active career as a reserve officer. In addition to the local ability to offer tactical IT to clients, we also see opportunities for valuable acquisitions in Denmark, says Bjorn Carlsson, MilDef CEO.

MilDef Denmark will be established in the first quarter of 2023.
