Microsoft has published a new repair video that shows how the Surface Laptop SE school computer can be disassembled and repaired.
This is a rather big step for Microsoft’s Surface computers that were previously somewhat infamous for being difficult to fix by third-party repairers. The ability to perform minor repairs without handing over the computer can of course be very important for the Surface Laptop SE, which is aimed at schools, an environment where computers may not be treated as carefully as they are at home.
Microsoft also previously promised that its products would be easier to fix for third-party repairers after receiving criticism for this, something that now appears to be the case.
