Melania Trump was essentially invisible during her husband Donald Trump's third presidential campaign.
But on Sunday evening, she made a beaming entrance during Trump's campaign speech at Madison Square Garden in New York and kissed her husband on stage.
– It's an incredible place. “I love New York City,” she says on “Fox & Friends” about the unusual look.
Melania Trump says she feels the same excitement as she did during the 2016 campaign, but one announcer points out something is different — her husband has been the victim of two assassination attempts.
– It is much more dangerous and I am very vigilant and selective about where I go. Because, you never know, it only takes one person and it's very dangerous out there.
Melania: “My husband knew my position”
What do you think of the rhetoric out there? “They call your husband the second Hitler,” says one announcer.
– He's not Hitler. All his supporters stand behind him because they want the country to succeed.
At the end of the program, the audience has the opportunity to ask Melania Trump questions and one of the women asks to speak. She asks about Melania's position on abortion rights and a woman's right to decide about her own body. This is the position she describes in her memoirs, “Melania,” which was published early last October.
My question to you is how did you present or drop your little “pro-choice” bombshell in the midst of his (Donald Trump's) fight for his career? The woman says.
– My husband has known my position and opinion since the day we met, Melania Trump responds.
