Finally we’ll see more from “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora,” made by Swedish game studio Massive.
In addition to “Star Wars: Outlaws,” Swedish Massive is also working on “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora,” a first-person shooter. Regarding Ubisoft Forward, the game developer showed gameplay of the upcoming action adventure.
At the presentation, “Avatar” director James Cameron took the opportunity to talk a little bit about the project.
We wanted the audience to feel as if they were really on Pandora, to dream far and explore this world. “Our vision has always been to embrace technology to allow us to find new ways, outside of cinema, to immerse people in this world,” said Cameron.
From Massive, we have Ditte Deenfeldt who is serving as a “Game Director” on Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.” She also confirms that it will be an interesting world to explore:
Our ambition is to create a playground where curiosity is rewarded. This attractive and immersive game will allow you to occupy a beautiful open world. Deenfeldt explains that you’ll be able to touch and interact with them using your size, superhuman strength, and natural agility.
Looks sexy to say the least. I hope it’s not too much for Massive with both “Star Wars” and “Avatar”. The premiere of “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” will take place on December 7th. The game has been released for Playstation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
