There is a new one Car company in Sweden. NIO has arrived – and they’re doing it with confidence. Their first model, the ET7, is a large and spacious luxury electric sedan with a high level of technology, world-class design and an excellent sense of quality in every imaginable detail.
It’s all-wheel drive, has 644 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 in 3.8 seconds. With astonishingly low air resistance and a battery size of 100 kWh, it can range up to 580 kilometers between charges.

Forget about stopping charging – at NIO’s battery replacement facilities, you can instead install a charged battery for as long as refueling is required. Not only does it eliminate range anxiety on the long trip, it also extends the life of the vehicle as it can be swapped between batteries and upgraded to a larger or smaller battery as needed.
Car ownership is easy
This flexibility also reflects the form of ownership. In fact, you don’t even own NIO, but rather subscribe to it with a secure car subscription that takes into account the changing world and means you don’t have to worry about residual values and unexpected events. The NIO themselves believe that they have no clients. Instead, they have users who are members of their community.
Self-driving – but fun to drive
As you’d expect from a young, modern automaker, their ET7 is packed with technology. Gradually, more and more autonomous functions are being launched, which can be used in various traffic situations, in everything from highway driving to battery replacement. The standalone NIO Aquila Super Sensing system contains 33 high-performance sensor modules, including a long-range, high-resolution LiDAR, seven 8-megapixel HD cameras, four 3-megapixel photosensitive peripheral cameras, and ADMS (Advanced Driver Monitoring System) Five millimeter wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, GPS, IMU and HOD. Thus, it ensures that the car understands its surroundings better than any human driver.
But NIO ET7 is The NIO ET7 is also designed to be sexy – and nice to sit on. With 644 horsepower and GPS-controlled active shock absorbers, the NIO ET7 is fun to drive and comfortable at the same time.
The interior design is a mixture of futuristic technology and modern design. Floating screens, a dual-acoustic steering wheel and invisible smart air vents make the cabin sophisticated and comfortable. Above the screen, you’ll find the AMOLED Sleep – the world’s first artificial intelligence assistant in the car – which helps you easily control the entertainment and other functions in the passenger compartment when you are outside the car.
Delivery already this fall
In the wake of the pandemic and global semiconductor shortages, delivery times of several months, even more than a year, have become a norm for the most thoughtful car buyer. At NIO, the situation is the opposite, that is, they have worked to match their Swedish release with cars that can be delivered more or less immediately.
