A heart attack can happen to anyone. Whether at work, traveling or in a private place, many people feel confused and afraid to do something wrong in an emergency. But the only mistake you can make is to do nothing. Beurer’s patented LifePad® guides you through the recovery process and helps you take the right steps correctly.
Quick help can save lives in an emergency! But according to the German Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI), not even half of first-aid practitioners in Germany perform life-saving interventions in emergency situations. Even using only simple resuscitation measures can triple the chance of survival, for example by performing CPR immediately. The LifePad® from Beurer can help with this and give your first aid practitioner peace of mind.
How is LifePad® used correctly?
LifePad® is easy to use and requires no prior knowledge. All measures to be taken in case of emergency are clearly indicated directly on the product. To get started, all you have to do is pull the battery bar. The audio signal that instantly adjusts the click-tempo sounds. The red markings clearly show how to place the pillow and your hands on a person’s chest, and the elastic material perfectly adapts to the shape of a person’s body. The LifePad® has an audio and visual feedback system to indicate the optimal pressure depth and frequency. The percussion signal indicates a frequency of 100 beats per minute. Pressure must be applied to each beep and released after each beep. In addition, a colored LED indicator helps the user to ensure the recommended pressure pressure. This provides special assistance, especially for lay people in severe emergencies.
