Lance Reddick leads the cast in the new “Resident Evil” series
Netflix’s upcoming live-action series “Resident Evil”, based on the popular video game of the same name, is finally making its debut. The streaming service has officially placed an order for an eight-hour season.
The plot will take place about three decades after the discovery of the T virus and the dark secrets of the Umbrella Corporation. Actor Lance Reddick, who has a long television career from TV series such as “The Wire”, “Bosch” and “Fringe”, will play Albert Wesker.
Actors Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph and Paola Nuñez will appear in the first season, but it is currently unclear which roles.
