22-year-old German Luca Pferdmenges travels the world and shares his experiences on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

Europe is his favorite continent to visit. After visiting all 44 countries in Europe, Luca is now ranked among the best and worst.

“It's very difficult for me to pick five favourites to visit. But then it would be Portugal, Cyprus, Spain, Austria and Croatia,” says Luca.

He admits that he “prefers warm places to cold ones.”

– Luca says: – The Mediterranean countries have the best climate in my opinion and I love the food there.

He praises Croatia's “classy” beaches. Lucas' favorite city in all categories is Lisbon.

“I like big cities where there is a lot to do, but it is better when it is warm there,” says Luca.

Therefore, the Nordic countries end up at the bottom of the list.

He admits it's “very difficult” to rank the five worst European countries to visit, but describes his San Marino experience as “disappointing”.

– It was very difficult to get there and there was nothing to do. After a few hours, I had seen everything. Luca says the view is great and the architecture is impressive, but it's not a place you want to go on holiday.

He describes Belgium as “grey and very cold in the winter,” Belarus as “the only really isolated country on the continent,” and Liechtenstein as “very isolated and expensive.”

Last on Lucas's list are the Nordic countries because they are “too expensive” to visit.

– A short taxi ride in Finland can cost 30-40 euros. If you are on a budget, avoid not only Finland, but also Iceland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden, says Luca.

However, he admits that it is “fantastically beautiful” in many places in the North.
