Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro Plus combine top-middle class performance, big batteries, fast charging, high refresh amoled screens, 5G and good cameras. Some family features can be noticed from other mobiles, because Realme belongs to the same group, for example, Oneplus, Oppo and Vivo.
Realme 9 Pro
It’s not that simple because the Pro Plus is better in every way. If we start with the Realme 9 Pro, it has a 6.6-inch screen with 120Hz refresh and the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695, a chipset launched last fall and made in a 6nm process. A notch below shot, which is also the hallmark of Realme. Slightly cheaper phones still go a long way. Realme 9 pro also has a big 5000mAh battery and a triple camera on the back where we get a 64MP main camera accompanied by an 8MP wide angle and a macro lens. Realme 9 Pro has 33W fast charging.
The cameras in Realme 9 Pro are three on the back which is a 64MP main camera with a wide angle and a macro lens.
Realme 9 Pro Plus with a better camera, not a fast screen
Instead, the Realme 9 Pro Plus has slightly faster fast charging, more precisely at 60W. This allows you to charge the battery, which is a bit smaller here, from 4,500 mAh to 50 percent in about 15 minutes. Unlike the Pro, the Realme 9 Pro Plus only has a 90Hz screen refresh on the screen, which here is a 6.4-inch Amoled. The chip that powers the phone is a Mediatek Dimensity 920 5G, as is in the sister model a 6nm chip.
The cameras on the back are a little more luxurious here, primarily in the form of the 50MP main camera with Sony IMX766 sensor, and also here complemented with a wide angle.
Even the cheapest one
In addition to these two phones, Realme is also launching the budget model Realme 9i, which is powered by a 4G Snapdragon 680 chipset, has a 90Hz refresh screen, a 500mAh battery, 33W fast charging and three cameras on the back. It consists of a main camera of 50 megapixels, as well as a wide angle and a third lens in black and white, which is not macro.
All phones will be delivered with Android 12, but so far only sold if Via Realme’s website where sales start on February 21. There, prices are in Indian rupees, but translated into SEK, Realme 9 Pro Plus costs 3200 SEK, Realme 9 Pro 2300 SEK, and Realme 9i 1700 SEK. Based on Swedish pricing for previous Realme models, we can expect to spend roughly a thousand kroner when the phones arrive here in Sweden.
