American Brielle Acero finished her studies a year ago. She moved from South Carolina to New Jersey where she got her “first real nine-to-five job.”

But work life did not go as well as the 21-year-old had imagined. She recently shared her thoughts on the matter in a file Tik Tok video Next to the phrase “Not having time to live scares me.”

Brill says the normal nine-to-five job is crazy.

She says it takes her “a bloody eternity” just to travel to and from work.

-When I get home, I don’t have time to do anything but shower and eat dinner before going to bed. “I can’t cook or exercise,” Brill says.

She stressed that she had nothing against her job but was “very upset” about the 40-hour work week.

– How do people have time for friends or dating? “I don’t have time to do anything, and that makes me stressed,” Brill says.

“Welcome to reality”

The video went viral and opinions were divided in the comments section.

“The 40-hour workweek is outdated, and you have every right to feel that way.”“,” one person wrote.

Another describes the first year of working life as “traumatic.”

But others don’t understand comments like “welcome to reality” and “welcome to adulthood,” which Brielle believes are unfair.

“I was just trying to have an open dialogue and show respect to people who work longer hours than me,” Brill says.

Brill believes conservatives are using her video as a “political racket” to discredit the entire Generation Z.
