According to reports, the value of the new show with Tom Cruise amounted to 290 million dollars.
The biggest culprit, of course, was the epidemic that hit the beginning of the recording. Among other things, they planned to record a large and lavish action scene in Venice, on the same day the country was closed due to Covid-19.
Cruz isn’t the one to knock for Mission Impossible and push with director Christopher Macquarie to continue the ambitious recording, even if it means it has to be stopped over and over again. It was therefore necessary to bypass restrictions and try to create a safe registration environment in many countries such as Italy, Norway, Poland, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
In addition to unexpected expenses, the new “Mission Impossible” is usually packed with grand stunts, including motorbike jumping off a mountain – what Cruz calls “the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done.”
With a budget of 290 miles, the film joins the five most expensive films ever made.
“Mission: Impossible 7” will premiere in cinemas in the summer of 2023. It will be followed by “Mission: Impossible 8” in 2024, which will be the end of the story of the super-spy Ethan Hunt. Tom Cruise has played the role since 1996.
