How to see peacocks in the UK

If you are a fan of The Traitors US or Poker Face, then you should know about Peacock, NBC's streaming service.

Peacock has tons of shows and movies, including NBC classics like The Office. Additionally, it is now home to some exclusive NFL games. If you want to register from outside America, there are some options you can explore. Here's everything you need to know.

Is Peacock available in the UK?

Peacock content is now available in the UK in one of two ways. If you have Sky TV packageThen you can access its content via here. Alternatively, you can sign up for Now's Entertainment membership, which costs £9.99 per month.

While some shows and movies are available on the UK version of Peacock, not everything is included. If you want full, unfiltered access, you'll need to sign up for the US version.

How to watch Peacock outside the US with a VPN

To access Peacock US abroad, you'll need a VPN, either an iPhone or Android device, and a PayPal account.

You'll need to sign up for Peacock Premium for $4.99 per month, or Peacock Premium Plus for $9.99 per month. The former is ad-supported, while the latter is ad-free.

How to register your payment details on Peacock US

We've successfully created a Peacock Premium account using an Android phone and both NordVPN and ExpressVPN on separate occasions

Here's what you need to do once you download your VPN on your mobile device:

Run your VPN on your iOS/Android device and connect to a US server

Create a new Apple ID/Google Play account in your US-linked browser

Add your name, date of birth, and choose an email address

Register your new account in your iOS/Android device's app store

Make sure you're still connected to a US server on your VPN while you're at it

Add PayPal as a payment method

This should be under 'Add Payment' on iOS, and 'Payment Methods' on Android

You should now be able to access the US App Store – download and install the Peacock app

We've had some issues streaming from mobile, so we recommend using your PC/laptop to watch Peacock content using a VPN

During testing, I noticed that the Play Store did not change to the US version, even when creating a new account.

The way I was able to get around this was to connect to a VPN on my computer, log into the US Google Play Store website, search for the Peacock app and send it to my phone (which was still connected to the VPN).

We've received reports of people unable to install US streaming apps like Max on iOS, as the App Store forces users to register their payment details within the App Store, and UK PayPal is not accepted if you try to register with that account. .

If this happens to you, we recommend purchasing US App Store credit via a digital gift card – which can be added as a payment option in the US.

This can be purchased from places like Walmart Although other retailers are available – you will need a website that allows you to pay using your UK bank details.

If you designate your email address as the recipient, a refund code will be sent to your inbox. When you come to add payment information, select “Redeem a gift card or code,” and you should be able to add the money as a balance to your account.

With this, you should then be able to sign up for a Peacock account and change your payment information back to your UK PayPal via the website to avoid having to pay for a new gift card each time.
