At this year’s WWDC, we could see major updates to the upcoming iOS 16, Ipad OS 16 and Watch OS 9, at least if we’re to believe famed Bloomberg journalist and Apple analyst Mark Gorman.
In his remake the news Authority, Gurman wrote that iOS 16 could get “big improvements” regarding, among other things, new health notifications and functions. Ipad OS 16 will also be able to participate in these changes. However, he doesn’t think the systems will have any major optical transformations.
Clear: Then this year’s edition of WWDC kicks off
Watch OS 9 can get real updates in terms of health and activity tracking. Gurman previously said 2022 could be a big year for the Apple smartwatch, something that could also be shown on the show front at WWDC in June.
However, Gurman does not estimate that Apple will display any products associated with the company’s investments in mixed reality. However, iOS 16 should be “full of references to the headphones and how they interact with the iPhone”. It also notes that the speaker will be released during the iOS 16 cycle, sometime between fall 2022 and fall 2023.
So expect the rumor mill to pick up speed once developers and others get their hands on the first iOS 16 beta.
