Rumors surrounding the upcoming Geforce RTX 5000 series continue, and now what is believed to be an RTX 5090 graphics card has been captured on video. The video clip was filmed during a tour of a factory in Indonesia that manufactures graphics chips to be shipped to China. The clip was published on the Chinese platform Bilibili And share it in the forum Chevelle.
Also according to the video description in Chinese, it has been confirmed to be an RTX 5090:
Due to US export restrictions against China, graphics chips with performance equivalent to or higher than the RTX 4090 are prohibited from being exported to the Chinese mainland. To circumvent this when launching the RTX 5090, Bo Neng built a factory in Batam, Indonesia. The video shows the production line where the cards are functionally tested. The graphics card shown in the video is the soon-to-be-launched Nvidia RTX 5090
The samples in the video appear to be made by Zotac, and as expected, the cards are large and equipped with three fans. But other details are difficult to discern in the video.
Rumors about the upcoming RTX 5000 series continue to flow. Just last week, there was information that the Geforce RTX 5090 may cost the same as the RTX 4090 or slightly less at launch. It is also expected that the entire RTX 5000 series could be released at almost the same time, which is expected to happen during CES in January.
