With the latest generations of graphics cards, both Nvidia and AMD have left high coolers for the so-called blowerSample of their respective reference graphics cards. Nvidia turned radial into axial fans with the Geforce RTX 2000 series, and with the RTX 3000 series, the company updated the cooler design into a funky storyline with two opposing fans.
The Geforce RTX 4000 “Ada Lovelace” is on the way, and images from last spring indicate that Nvidia is keeping the same cooling solution for Founder’s Edition graphics cards. Post now Twitter profile “Kitty Yukko”formerly named “Kitty Corgi,” an image purported to reference the RTX 4080. The name of this product that appears on the back of the graphics card is undeniable, but the font is different from the bold variant used with RTX 3000 cards.
Videocardz Reports That Nvidia recently started using a new font on the official website, and this appears to match the variant in the image. However, the photo shows more changes than that, as sharp eyes may notice that the visible fan is large and slightly raised. Additionally, the card is wider than its sibling Geforce RTX 3080, which means that Nvidia is borrowing coolant from the RTX 3090 to keep RTX 4080 temperatures in check.
It is difficult to determine whether a graphics card occupies two or three card slots. If it comes down to the minimal option, the Geforce RTX 4080 in Founder’s Edition guise could get cooler somewhere in the border region between the RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 variants. On September 20, Nvidia will tell more about the Geforce RTX 4000 “Ada Lovelace,” and from The company will probably then provide official information about the graphics cards.
