Hunters Property Plc,
which how has a 200 branch estate agency network, have appointed Dan Rafferty
as their new Chief Operating Officer. Rafferty’s past CV includes 14 years at
Foxtons as their Chief Information Officer.
Rafferty’s role, so say Hunters,
will be ‘overall responsibility for the execution of a programme to help
improve the productivity and efficiency of the company’s highly commended
customer service offering and its digital marketing strategy.’
Glynis Frew, Chief
Executive Officer at Hunters, says: “We’re delighted to welcome Dan to the
Company, who brings with him a history of achievement and delivery and is a
great fit for us on a personal level. As a key component of any successful
customer service offering, technological innovation will define the industry
battleground for the foreseeable future and Dan will play a vital role in the
continued growth of our strategy in this area.”
Hunters – whose offices
are run by independent business owners – have been positively developing their network
and strengthening their proposition to sellers in recent years. Rather than
just another appointment, this move could be seen as something of a statement
of their intent to become an even bigger player in future – especially in the
digital arena in which Rafferty has known expertise.
