Very funny mess to sell to buy something small with finesse. Long, flat geometry that definitely doesn’t feel outdated.
I have been very happy with the bike since I purchased it in 2020. Well maintained (bearings, fork, damper, regular wash, etc.) and stored in a warm garage. Because of the house and family with young children, there wasn’t as much cycling as one would like. Some upgrades were done and some components weren’t used as I had a few other things on the bike that I’m going to move over to the next one.

Aside from the wearing parts being replaced, I have made the following upgrades:
Damper changed to RockShox SuperDeluxe Ultimate
Dropper changed to OneUp v2180mm mechanism v2.1
The rear wheel has been changed to a WTB with a hub that has more points of engagement and looks funnier
New butcher frames and abrasives specialized with looms
The new handlebars like the original handlebars had some unsightly scratches and paint scuffs from the trigger controls
Before selling, I disassembled the whole bike and checked all the parts, serviced the fork, changed the “blades” on the brake lever because they were a little worn, put the NX driveline back in, had new tubeless sprockets, bled the brakes and checked the crank and steering bearings.
All shells that go through the frame have Jaguar foam rubber cushioning to avoid rattling.
Even though the frame is made of brushed aluminum (very nice!) I’ve had a protective coating in many places, so the frame looks really new!
