FOR SALE: HIGHLY IMPROVED TEMPO/TRIATON BIKE (WHEELS INCLUDED)

It’s time to sell the spaceship because I’m no longer racing.

The short version:

Aerodynamically optimized ride. You can easily cover the bike portion of an Ironman in 6 hours without training much beforehand.
The bike is incredibly stable despite the high wheels, even when it goes off a lot.

I’ve run two Ironman Kalmar and an IM 70.3 as well as training.
Previous owner ran IM once.

Highly optimized according to research in wind tunnel tests:

The frame, front fork, seat post, handlebars and wheels are custom-designed from aero-foil formed carbon fibre. The crank arms are also made of carbon fiber (Vision Trimax). Ceramic ball bearings. Shimano Ultegra, 10 parts. 54 teeth at the heaviest at the front, and 12 at the smallest at the back. Internal cabling to reduce swirls. The rear brake is mounted below the crank section to reduce air resistance, and the front brake is behind the front fork for the same reason. High quality wheels (89mm) made of hollow carbon with flat aero bars.
The brake levers are inverted to reduce vortices behind the levers.
The wire protrusions are held together using a special form of airfoil (electrical insulating tape), also to reduce air resistance over the tire.
Water bottle holder horizontally between the aerobars (even better than an empty one as swirls between the arms naturally occur).

I’m selling because I don’t compete in triathlons anymore, and I already have a full carbon aerodynamic racer that works great for training.
