Now the dream building is going away, and the reason is simple – there are no more bikes in the house so one has to go!
I have a fully refurbished Cannondale Flash Ultimate that has not been ridden more than three outdoor sessions (30km total) since the refurbishment (never been ridden much before but has been sitting due to movement). It was refurbished last winter with the fork (Lefty Speed Carbon SL 110) getting a full service from Racing Bike Switzerland, new ceramic crank bearings and new ceramic bearings in the wheels.
Sram XX upright with oversized rollers and a carbon fiber saddle (another saddle pictured).
Seat post Matthias Hallero 100g. The handlebars are carbon fiber, of course.
The wheels are from the world famous AX-lightness tube, with Tufo tires, and Tune Kong hubs.
The bike is even sealed with varnish and waxed! Of course the Dura-ace chain is waxed. Formula R1 brakes.
The bike weighs just over 6.5 kg.
Given the low weight, it’s childishly fun to drive. In fact, I hesitate to sell it due to the unique characteristics of a very light and agile bike.
