It's now clear that one of England's biggest male solo artists will be visiting Sweden twice during August. Olly Murs He came in second place on the British X Factor in 2009 where he, among other things, sing a duet With Robbie Williams and has since released two successful albums. The current one “heart skips a beat” He has been a huge success in large parts of Europe, and in August Olly Murs will come to Sweden for the first time to meet his fans.
Olly Mur’s success story began on the X Factor – since then, Olly has worked individually on his music, art and his role as host of Xtra Factor, the popular X Factor after-show. In England, Olly Murs is one of the biggest male artists, selling over 150,000 tickets on his arena tour in early spring. The tour featured 15 sold-out concerts including two shows at London’s O2 Arena and a concert at Wembley Arena.
The single “Heart Skips A Beat” reached number one on the singles chart in England, Germany and Switzerland – and also in terms of radio, the song was a huge success in Poland, Austria, Switzerland, France and Germany, among other countries. “Heart Skips A Beat” was also nominated for the 2012 Brit Award for “Best British Single”.
At the time of writing, Olly Murs is travelling with One Direction's massive US tour, playing to sold-out arenas, meeting new fans and visiting radio stations.
