Edit your Powerpint presentation in Word – and save time

If you have created a comprehensive presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint and for one reason or another you need to edit it in Microsoft Word, you must first find a way to convert it to Word format.

Copying each Powerpoint text section and pasting it into Word can take a long time if there is a lot of text involved. If you save your presentation as an rtf file, you don’t need to load your computer with any third-party software to do the job.

Powerpoint can save your presentation as a file that can be opened, edited, and saved in Word. This can be a huge advantage if your presentation consists of a lot of text. PowerPoint is definitely not ideal for smooth text editing. The only major drawback is that no images are included, so a photo-rich presentation in this way may not be the most appropriate.

You can also use the method when creating a new presentation – first write it in Word and save it in rtf format, and then open it in PowerPoint.
