Media Profile Joe Rogan's podcast “The Joe Rogan experiene” is one of the biggest podcasts in the world with over 14 million followers on Spotify.

On Friday, former President and presidential candidate Donald Trump visited it for the first time. During the three-hour interview, Rogan and Trump talked about everything from allegations of election fraud in 2020 to the question of whether or not there is life on Mars.

Trump: He knew Kim Jong Un “very well”

Reports say that at some point, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un spoke mirror. According to Trump, he got to know the dictator “very well” during his presidency, although heated words were sometimes exchanged between the two leaders. Among other things, Trump called Kim “Little Rocket Man” and “crazy” in 2017, after the North Korean threatened to “tame the elderly American with fire.”

The relationship was particularly good at the end of Trump's presidency, he said. Then North Korea was no longer a problem for the United States because the former president convinced the dictator to stop developing nuclear weapons.

“Go to the beach and relax”

– I said: Did you do anything else? Why don't you take it easy? 'Go to the beach and relax,' Trump says in 'The Joe Rogan Experience'

“You're always making nuclear weapons, you don't have to do that. Relax!” “Let's build some apartments on your beach,” I said, and he continues.

The conversation is said to have taken place during Trump's summit with Kim Jong Un in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi, in February 2019. The purpose of the meeting, on the American side, was to convince North Korea to dismantle its nuclear weapons program. But the meeting was canceled prematurely and no agreement was ever reached – at least not officially.

– We had a fruitful meeting. But we didn't think this was the right time to sign anything. Sometimes you just have to go without a contract. “This was a huge opportunity,” Donald Trump said in a press conference afterward.

On Sunday evening, Donald Trump will hold a rally at New York's famous Madison Square Garden.

The Trump campaign called the whole thing an “epic event” before the rally.
