DJI may be best known to the common man for its drones, but it is also well known for its pivot. Any portable “tripods” that stabilize the image when shooting and moving the camera. The latest addition to their gimbal family is the new RS 3 Mini which is a much smaller alternative for those who need a gimbal that is easy to carry on the go, or takes up less space in a bag.

In the basic version, the RS 3 Mini weighs 795 grams, when shooting horizontally, an additional plate is required, which increases the weight to 850 grams. If you want to install an extra table stand/stand, it adds another 130g to the total weight. The new gimbal can hold up to two kilograms, one kilogram less than the standard RS 3, but still fits many common camera and lens combinations within two kilograms.
The DJI RS 3 Mini has a small touch screen with which you can manage the necessary settings, and there is also a Bluetooth connection to the camera, which allows you to start recording using the controls on the handle and zooming through the input wheel. A digital zoom is then used or, if the lens has a power zoom, checked. The input wheel can also be used to adjust focus. The installation technology is the same as on the RS 3 Pro.
The built-in battery should handle ten hours of shooting on a single charge. Pricing finished at around SEK 4,590.
